Sagitarius Expeditionary Force(Right Side)

Their objective was simple, find a viable route to attack the Saurian Empire by skirting the outer rim so that they could strike at the heart of Saurian territory without being detected long in advance. They accomplish their goal and determine the exact location of the Saurian Homeworld, laying the groundwork for the Earth Union's grand plan to eliminate their alien nemesis once and for all. Unfortunately, despite causing significant damage to the shipyards, cloning centers and civilian facilities in several of the Saurian Core Systems, they eventually came up against a type of ship no human had ever laid eyes upon before. It was one of five massive vessels that guaranteed Saurian dominance in their region of space. The ship opened in the front section and unfolded three large arrays. Bright streams of death came in wide swaths that devastated everything in front that wasn't a cruiser. The expeditionary force had to retreat through the bulk of the Saurian military units that were encroaching on Human worlds and fight to clear a path home. In the end, less than 10% of them made it back to Union Space. For all their sacrifices, the information they retrieved would prove vital to ending the war.

Pictured here is the ace of the Mobile Assault Corps, pilot of the M.A.V. known as the "Lion of Antares" that crushed the starfleets of a dozen lesser civilizations. When not needed, it is rumored that he is sealed in a stasis pod to reawaken only when the Union deems his presence essential to their plans. Some say he was born in battle against the genetically-enhanced Myu, others claim he is one of theirs that sided with the normal humans and therefore doesn't age or require the things that any regular person would desire. Although his M.A.V. takes a great deal of punishment during the expedition, he returns to the fight shortly after repairs are complete and sees action until the end of the war, then he disappears once again until the next conflict arises.
